From the initial identification of traits to effective ways to hone these characteristics, attendees will benefit from new perspective and leave with valuable insight and a renewed sense of leadership energy and enthusiasm. This session promises to deliver a thoughtful analysis of Leadership Characteristics that will improve marketers’ chances for promotions and moves to the executive level.

About Barbara Shuck:

Barbara Shuck, FSMPS, CPSM, shares her energy, passion and experience to enlighten and expand marketing and communication practices for dedicated professionals. Using personal anecdotes from 30+ years of business and marketing experiences, she educates, challenges, motivates and inspires marketers to develop new ideas, skills and insight on their own career paths. She has more than 20 years’ experience in marketing and business development in the AEC industry. She is Firm-Wide Marketing Communications Manager at Wilson & Company, Engineers & Architects, and is a Past President of SMPS.  She has an MBA from Thunderbird School of Global Management (Glendale, AZ), and a BA in Communication Arts and French from Washburn University (Topeka, KS).
